Jo Malone, Stella McCartney, & Jimmy ChooHey everyone! Today I thought I would share some of my absolute favorite perfumes of all time. Ive noticed that I have been reaching for one of three different fragrances on repeat- and I think its safe to say these will always be a part of my fragrance collection. I really love them <i>that much.</i><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-y0TF5EvJsck/UxjvJcJOwRI/AAAAAAAABeU/0l5dntWxrNQ/s1600/perfume5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-y0TF5EvJsck/UxjvJcJOwRI/AAAAAAAABeU/0l5dntWxrNQ/s1600/perfume5.jpg" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-sAQP7KNfWXU/UxjvE5pgF6I/AAAAAAAABd0/7mo6G4ZLAc4/s1600/perfume1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-sAQP7KNfWXU/UxjvE5pgF6I/AAAAAAAABd0/7mo6G4ZLAc4/s1600/perfume1.jpg" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
First up is my all time Jo Malone Favorite- red roses. It smells amazing, literally just like I am in a field of roses...er garden of roses? But seriously, this perfume smells like a bouquet of roses. It isn't too peppery either- if you have smelled other "rose" scents you know what I am talking about. Sometimes rose scents can be too musky or have a "peppery" undertone, but not red roses by Jo Malone! This fragrance is light and airy, perfect for spring and summer!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-FvJP-5IhM-o/UxjvF7upJxI/AAAAAAAABd8/F765CffLLik/s1600/perfume2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-FvJP-5IhM-o/UxjvF7upJxI/AAAAAAAABd8/F765CffLLik/s1600/perfume2.jpg" height="486" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
My next favorite is an oldie as well that I have repurchased again and again. It is "Stella" by Stella McCartney. To me, if a cologne and perfume mixed, it would be this scent. It is a mix of soft, fresh rose with notes of dark, deep amber. A perfect mix of light and heavy- which really gives this fragrance such a unique scent.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-UwBGsWxmwNU/UxjvGwMvnEI/AAAAAAAABeE/58TD5D487qc/s1600/perfume3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-UwBGsWxmwNU/UxjvGwMvnEI/AAAAAAAABeE/58TD5D487qc/s1600/perfume3.jpg" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
My last, but certainly not least, favorite is a newer fragrance by Jimmy Choo, "Flash." This scent feels rich and luxurious, and like the Stella perfume, has a mix of light and dark notes, including fresh flowers, tangerine and strawberry mixed with powdery woods and pink pepper. It smells sweet at first, with a deeper scent coming out as it starts to settle.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-B8JVn3qTEgI/UxjvIKaSCKI/AAAAAAAABeM/_L9ORkcUXgw/s1600/perfume4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-B8JVn3qTEgI/UxjvIKaSCKI/AAAAAAAABeM/_L9ORkcUXgw/s1600/perfume4.jpg" height="382" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-015W7Mtuqz8/UxjvK-QSZYI/AAAAAAAABec/Qplwv4f-MoM/s1600/perfume6.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-015W7Mtuqz8/UxjvK-QSZYI/AAAAAAAABec/Qplwv4f-MoM/s1600/perfume6.jpg" height="394" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I love each of these fragrances so much I have purchased both sizes of them, one for at home use, and the smaller for on the go! <br />
<br />
Let me know what your favorite scents are!<br />

I get a lot of questions about starting a skincare routine and which products are best for different skin types. Starting a skin care routine can be kind of overwhelming because there are so many different products, and so many different price ranges. Should you start big or small? How many products do you really need? Which order do you apply all of the products in?! <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-dfR250IzXno/UxA2oVOQGQI/AAAAAAAABc4/5YLHfn9iPt0/s1600/chalk.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-dfR250IzXno/UxA2oVOQGQI/AAAAAAAABc4/5YLHfn9iPt0/s1600/chalk.jpg" height="288" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
I personally think it is worth it to invest a little more in your skincare. Your skin is something you want (I hope) to look good for a very long time- and <i>sometimes</i> shelling out the big bucks will help. There are a few products I splurge on, and a few that are pretty budget friendly! <br />
<span style="color: magenta;"><br /></span>
<span style="color: magenta;">THE BASICS:</span><br />
<br />
For a beginner, or anyone looking to change up their skincare routine, I recommend a few solid steps to get your skin care regimen started. <br />
<br />
<ol>
<li><b><span style="color: blue;">Makeup Remover</span></b>- this is crucial when you wear makeup. It will remove the layer of makeup, allowing your cleanser (from step 2) to actually cleanse your skin, and not your makeup. Look for a makeup remover that will remove your face and eye makeup in one go! This will save you time and money!</li>
<li><b><span style="color: blue;">Cleanser</span></b>- A cleanser will really deep clean your skin and remove any last traces of makeup. I always recommend using a proper cleanser AFTER your makeup remover. A makeup remover is not a cleanser. When your skin is properly cleansed, your serums and moisturizers will really be able to sink into your skin and do their jobs.</li>
<li><b><span style="color: blue;">Toner</span></b>- While there are many different toners on the market, choosing one that is right for your skin type is crucial. They can remove any last traces of dirt, prep the skin for serums and moisturizers, hydrate, and control oil. You name it, there is probably a toner that does it. If you are oily, look for a toner that contains salicylic acid. If you are normal to dry, look for a toner that has hydrating and radiance boosting properties.</li>
<li><b><span style="color: blue;">Serum</span></b>- Serums are the hot new thing right now. Applied after toner, and before your moisturizer, they act as a booster in your skin care regimen. Serums come in tons and tons of different formulations- from glow boosters to fine lines and wrinkles fighters, to pore minimizers. Do you HAVE TO HAVE A SERUM?! No, but trust me, you will want one. And with so many different options, you can really find one that is perfect for your skincare concerns. If you really feel brave, layer up some serums for maximum results!</li>
<li><b><span style="color: blue;">Moisturizer</span></b>- a moisturizer is very important, even if you have oily skin, because it keeps your skin nice and hydrated throughout the day, and over time will help to slow down the aging process. When your skin gets dry or thirsty, fine lines and wrinkles set in. If you have oily skin and fear that moisturizers will make it worse, there are some great oil free moisturizers that keep oil at bay throughout the day!</li>
<li><b><span style="color: blue;">Sunscreen</span></b>- my final must have is a sunscreen. Sunscreen is extremely important and something you want to wear <i>every single day.</i> I know it can be a hassle sometimes, but the SPF will protect your skin from the sun, which is a huge cause of pigmentation issues and fine lines and wrinkles. Take the extra minute and apply a quick layer of SPF. Your future self will thank you (or yell at you if you don't do it. So do it).</li>
</ol>
<div>
Now that you have the basics down, lets talk about the different skin types: Knowing your skin type is important when you pick out skincare products- as lots of times products are meant specifically for oily, dry, combination, or normal skin types.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
If you tend to get shiny throughout the day, or have noticeably oily skin, your skin is oily. If you have dry patches or your skin looks tired and dull, you have dry skin. If your skin is both dry and oily, meaning dry on certain areas and oily throughout your nose and forehead, you have combination skin. If your skin is neither oily nor dry, you my friend have a normal skin type.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<b><span style="color: magenta;">OILY SKIN:</span></b></div>
<div>
If you have oily skin, your biggest concern is keeping your face as shine free as possible- but this doesn't mean you shouldn't use skincare products. I know it can seem that adding more serums and moisturizers on top of your oily prone skin is making the problem worse, but with the right products, it will actually help to prevent the oil in the first place. Here are my recommendations for oily skin!<br />
<br />
<a href="http://www.polyvore.com/oily_skin_picks/set?.embedder=9194132&.svc=copypaste&id=114809170" target="_blank"><img alt="oily skin picks" border="0" src="http://cfc.polyvoreimg.com/cgi/img-set/.sig/bPGN6ACGEJqBdA1kCxUeg/cid/114809170/id/kG5-XA6g4xGWkQhgNxsv_g/size/c600x491.jpg" height="491" title="oily skin picks" width="600" /></a></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<ol>
<li>KORRES Pomegranate Makeup Remover Wipes for Oily Skin. These will gently remove your makeup, dirt, and oil without clogging your pores, helping to prevent future breakouts.</li>
<li>First Aid Beauty Skin Rescue Deep Cleanser with Red Clay- This cleanser cleanses the skin while unclogging pores and removing excess oil. The Red Clay draws out toxins in the skin helping to balance out your complexion. It also reduces sebum (the stuff that clogs your pores) production to help keep your skin acne free. In general, anything with "clay" in the description will help with oil control.</li>
<li>Kate Somerville Clarifying Treatment Toner- when you have excess oil, look for key words such as clarifying and purifying. These mean the products will help to control excess oil production and future breakouts. This particular antiseptic toner by Kate Somerville fights bacteria and has exfoliating properties to help keep pores unblocked and lighten discoloration from acne.</li>
<li>Fresh Umbrian Clay Mattifying Serum- this serum is great for keeping your skin shine free throughout the day. Acting as a booster in your skincare regimen, it will add that extra protection to fight off oil production. Overtime, this product can also help in minimizing the look of pores, control sebum production, and fight off future breakouts. A great option for those of you scared to try a serum for your oily prone skin!</li>
<li>Kate Somerville Oil Free Moisturizer- this moisturizer will leave your skin with a nice matte finish, and like the other products listed above, is great for oily skin. It will not leave your pores congested and lays beautifully underneath makeup.</li>
</ol>
</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<b><span style="color: magenta;">DRY SKIN:</span></b><br />
If you have dry skin, it is important to pick products that will help add extra moisture and radiance to your skin. Look for key words such as illuminating, moisture-rich, radiant, glow, etc. By adding moisture to your skin, not only are you helping to prevent fine lines and wrinkles, but it will also help your makeup go on evenly and smoothly. <br />
<a href="http://www.polyvore.com/dry_skin_picks/set?.embedder=9194132&.svc=copypaste&id=114828197" target="_blank"><img alt="dry skin picks" border="0" src="http://cfc.polyvoreimg.com/cgi/img-set/.sig/vWoLYUNy284ldOOOQl0Ujw/cid/114828197/id/7F6SrCyg4xGBEAkVlZXARQ/size/c600x404.jpg" height="404" title="dry skin picks" width="600" /></a><br />
<br />
<ol>
<li>Clinique Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm- this balm is super moisturizing and will take off your makeup with complete ease. Its non-drying formula will never make your skin feel tight or "stripped" of moisture. A great option for those with dry skin. You can also use this to remove eye makeup as well! </li>
<li>Fresh Soy Face Cleanser- this gentle cleanser is great for those with dry skin because it does not strip the skin of moisture. Instead, it is rich with amino acids and other "good for you" ingredients to help keep skin looking hydrated and radiant. </li>
<li>Murad Hydrating Toner- when you have dry skin, spray on toners generally work the best, as opposed to toners you rub on with a cotton round. Spray on toners are packed with ingredients that help to lock in moisture, like this particular one by Murad. The mist is cooling on the skin and preps it for further treatments. </li>
<li>Kate Somerville Quench Hydrating Serum- a personal favorite of mine, this serum is great for those days when your skin needs a little pick me up. It adds immediate radiance and moisture to the skin, without feeling heavy or greasy. A staple in my skincare regimen. It also works great in conjunction with the Kate Somerville Dilo Oil.</li>
<li>Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief- this moisturizer, like the name states, is perfect for dry skin because it instantly replenishes skin with 24 full hours of hydration. Great for plumping up those fine lines and wrinkles and bringing radiance back to dry, dull skin. This is another personal favorite of mine, along with the Clinique Moisture Surge Overnight Mask.</li>
</ol>
<br />
<b><span style="color: magenta;">NORMAL SKIN: </span></b><br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
If you do not have oily or dry skin, you are in the category of "normal skin." When picking out products, you are pretty much free to choose whatever your heart desires, but in particular, look for products that say "for normal skin types" or "for all skin types." I fall in the category of having normal skin and here is my current skincare routine!<br />
<a href="http://www.polyvore.com/normal_skin_picks/set?.embedder=9194132&.svc=copypaste&id=114835985" target="_blank"><img alt="normal skin picks!" border="0" src="http://cfc.polyvoreimg.com/cgi/img-set/.sig/Ql2zCuuB8dVYKDcGsb4JA/cid/114835985/id/gs75A0Wg4xGiMY0VSbYPRA/size/c600x394.jpg" height="394" title="normal skin picks!" width="600" /></a><br />
<br />
<ol>
<li>REN Cleansing Balm- I use this as my "first cleanser" to remove my makeup. It works great at getting rid of every last trace of makeup, including waterproof eye makeup! Generally I work this into dry skin, and then steam my face a few times with a hot wash cloth. </li>
<li>Kate Somerville Daily Detox Cleanser- this is a great gel based cleanser that makes my skin feel super clean, without stripping it of moisture. Even though I do not have oily skin, I do sometimes have pesky breakouts around my chin and this cleanser helps keep those at bay because it does have acne fighting properties in it. Sometimes acne cleansers can be very drying if you are not oily but still suffer from breakouts, so this cleanser is a perfect choice. If you are not acne prone, I recommend Kates Gentle Daily Cleanser.</li>
<li>Kiehls Ultra Facial Toner- this toner is great for normal skin types. It keeps skin hydrated, while prepping for serums and moisturizers. It also acts to remove any last traces of dirt your cleansers might have missed. I have been really happy with this toner and will definitely repurchase. As a second toning step, I also mist on the Rose Spray by Fresh. This is an extra layer of hydration that works well with the Kiehls toner.</li>
<li>Clarins Double Serum- While this is a new addition to my skincare routine, I have come to the conclusion it is an awesome multi-tasking serum. It works to minimize pores, fight early signs of aging, plump up fine lines and wrinkles, and keep skin hydrated and balanced. In just a few uses, I have already noticed a difference in my skin. Pricey, but worth it.</li>
<li>Kate Somerville Age Arrest- the newest moisturizer by Kate Somerville, this product is great for both day and nighttime use. It keeps the face hydrated and radiant, without a greasy residue. It also looks great underneath makeup. Overtime, it will help with preventing fine lines and wrinkles- keeping your skin looking as young as possible for as long as possible!</li>
</ol>

Being the skincare junkie that I am, I totally couldn't resist when Clarins was having a gift with purchase recently! Being new to the Clarins line, I let the Clarins expert guide me through their different products and what she thought would be best for my skin. I told her I was interested in anti-ageing products for my normal to dry skin type and ended up getting quite a few new products to test out, not too mention <i>samples galore</i>...<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-R0cRmzfD3WM/Uw5iBmXOJgI/AAAAAAAABcM/5sG4uaQp2Fg/s1600/clarins1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-R0cRmzfD3WM/Uw5iBmXOJgI/AAAAAAAABcM/5sG4uaQp2Fg/s1600/clarins1.jpg" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I really wanted to try out a range of products so I could really get a feel for the Clarins line and to see how all of the products work in conjunction with one another! I walked away from the counter with a cleanser, face mask, peel, moisturizer, and serum, and loads of samples. I think that covered the basics right?! <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-j-XBBZtUL8U/Uw5iDl46G7I/AAAAAAAABcc/uBjaAgdYAEo/s1600/clarins2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-j-XBBZtUL8U/Uw5iDl46G7I/AAAAAAAABcc/uBjaAgdYAEo/s1600/clarins2.jpg" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
The first thing I picked up was this Double Serum, their newest and most talked about product. It is said to do it all, <i>literally</i>. Minimize pores, decrease fine lines and wrinkles, moisturize the skin, control excess oil, etc. Whatever your skincare problems are, this serum can do something for you, or so Clarins says. The sales associate was so adamant about this product, so into my bag it went. I know people have mixed reviews on this serum because it does contain mineral oil, but I decided to try it anyways and see what the hype was about.<br />
<br />
The serum is made up of two different components, as you can see by the bottle below. When you pump the bottle into your hands, a little of each component is released, but still act as almost oil and vinegar. In order for the product to be activated, you must rub the two oils between your palms to make sure they are completely mixed together. Next, you lightly press the mixture into your skin.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-_qalcFsGcRg/Uw5iDnKFJTI/AAAAAAAABcY/zzLCobAEPK4/s1600/clarins3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-_qalcFsGcRg/Uw5iDnKFJTI/AAAAAAAABcY/zzLCobAEPK4/s1600/clarins3.jpg" height="640" width="304" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
So far I really love this product- they say to wait four weeks before you see maximum results, but I already notice a difference in my skin in just a few days. My pores look smaller and my skin just looks more glowy. I can't wait to see how it is when I wait the full 4 weeks. The only downfall of this product is the price, and the fact that it seems to go pretty quickly. After only a few days, I already noticed a dent in the $115.00 bottle. And the fact that I am supposed to use this twice a day doesn't help (thinking about trying to do once a day and see if I still get results)...BUT nonetheless, this really seems to be a great serum! I will keep you updated!<br />
<br />
I also picked up their gentle foaming cleanser which is exactly how it sounds. It is gentle on the skin, foams up really well, and works great with my Clarisonic. I have been rotating this cleanser with my other ones and it does the job. However, I cannot say whether or not this removes makeup well because I always use it as my second cleanser, after my makeup is completely removed. This cleanser keeps my skin hydrated, never feeling tight- overall a great basic cleanser.<br />
<br />
Next up that was recommended to me was the Bright Plus Gentle Renewing Brightening Peel- which I got as an alternative to the Dr. Gross Alpha Beta Peel Pads. This product works in a similar fashion, mainly focusing on removing dead skin cells to reveal youthful smooth skin. I have used this twice so far and really LOVE it. Immediately after I use this, my face feels so soft and looks so radiant. Its quicker than the alpha beta peel pads too because its only one step, which I really like. So far, this is definitely a new favorite of mine.<br />
<br />
The mask I got was one for those days when my skin just needs a "pick me up." It provides a deep level of hydration and can be used morning or night. I haven't tried it yet, but will definitely keep you posted on what my thoughts are! <br />
<br />
The last product I purchased is the Bright Plus Brightening Renewing Night Cream- which I have to say I am not amazed by. Given I have only been using it a few days, I have not seen any major difference in my skin. That being said, it hasn't made my skin any worse either. I will continue to use it though and see if I notice any difference long term!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-NLTOWYKaGZs/Uw5iFMhIg3I/AAAAAAAABco/A_Rpt0E6vfM/s1600/clarins4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-NLTOWYKaGZs/Uw5iFMhIg3I/AAAAAAAABco/A_Rpt0E6vfM/s1600/clarins4.jpg" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Not only did I get a gift with purchase, but the Clarins rep was so awesome and through in tons of samples for me to try! Included were the toning lotion, vital light night and day creams, eye makeup removers, bright plus serum, and the gentle exfoliating daily cleanser. So far I have loved the exfoliating cleanser and the eye makeup remover- but I have not really tried anything else!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I received my GlamBag recently from Ipsy and was so impressed with what I got! Ipsy really did an awesome job this month putting together some great products. Never have I used all of the products right away- but I really have been loving <i>everything</i>! <br />
<br />
For only $10.00, this is what I got this month!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-c9BLktyBS2g/UwvWX7JxpAI/AAAAAAAABb4/5a0j0WlwVz4/s1600/feb1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-c9BLktyBS2g/UwvWX7JxpAI/AAAAAAAABb4/5a0j0WlwVz4/s1600/feb1.jpg" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-8fyO8z9ESDc/UwvWaExE8VI/AAAAAAAABb8/XLVPZGTkHeM/s1600/feb5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-8fyO8z9ESDc/UwvWaExE8VI/AAAAAAAABb8/XLVPZGTkHeM/s1600/feb5.jpg" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
The Eyetini Eye Cordial shadow is so so amazing! Not only is it extremely pigmented, but it also can be used as both a shadow and base! It also is super blendable for a few seconds right after application and then sets to last all day! I will definitely be checking out the other colors that this product comes in!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-FcYioFPxdbY/UwvWZDz0EYI/AAAAAAAABbw/AEad7fqgNcI/s1600/feb4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-FcYioFPxdbY/UwvWZDz0EYI/AAAAAAAABbw/AEad7fqgNcI/s1600/feb4.jpg" height="624" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
The Plump Pout gloss in "fuchsia freesia" surprised me by how pigmented it was! The color payoff is unreal and it really has great staying power. It also has a smooth, non-sticky formula which I really love.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-ZDa5A3iGfk0/UwvWXxIijyI/AAAAAAAABbk/9ylIW6ivy_Y/s1600/feb2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-ZDa5A3iGfk0/UwvWXxIijyI/AAAAAAAABbk/9ylIW6ivy_Y/s1600/feb2.jpg" height="370" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
AND I got a pair of lashes in my GlamBag! I used them right away and loved them! Not much more to say, just a good pair of eyelashes! However, I do prefer to use my own Duo Lash glue, so I cannot say whether or not I like the glue that came with these particular lashes. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-5-Hwf-qwg30/UwvWYC0xt1I/AAAAAAAABbo/6uMymXQhi5M/s1600/feb3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-5-Hwf-qwg30/UwvWYC0xt1I/AAAAAAAABbo/6uMymXQhi5M/s1600/feb3.jpg" height="640" width="344" /></a></div>
<br />
This Zoya polish is a color that I would absolutely pick out for myself. I think it will be perfect for Spring! <br />
<br />
Overall, this was an AWESOME GlamBag. Ipsy, you did so so so good this month!<br />
<br />

I hope you are all having a great week! Lately I have been noticing my obsession for House of Harlow jewelry. I love the style and the easiness of the pieces and thought I would share some of my favorites. The line was created and designed by celeb Nicole Richie, and her tribal chic style definitely transfers over into these pieces. Not to mention for a celebrity line, her pieces are pretty reasonably priced! <br />
<br />
Take a look for yourself...<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-8t0i9sHIRcc/UwUxbeFyIMI/AAAAAAAABa8/t8QhMYwZ7Lk/s1600/harlow7.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-8t0i9sHIRcc/UwUxbeFyIMI/AAAAAAAABa8/t8QhMYwZ7Lk/s1600/harlow7.jpg" height="384" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Below are two pieces that I love layering up and wearing together. They are the Sunbursts necklaces with beautiful pewter leather centers. I chose this color because I thought it would give me the most variety in terms of outfit choices, but they also come in a few other colors, like black, navy, and nude! The large retails for $58.00, while the small one retails for $48.00.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-vRf05BDBemk/UwUxPBfKQII/AAAAAAAABaM/aWuu5XCwbso/s1600/harlow1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-vRf05BDBemk/UwUxPBfKQII/AAAAAAAABaM/aWuu5XCwbso/s1600/harlow1.jpg" height="416" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/--GcRMzPefOg/UwUxR-E2fbI/AAAAAAAABac/b5apVcIrN7A/s1600/harlow2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/--GcRMzPefOg/UwUxR-E2fbI/AAAAAAAABac/b5apVcIrN7A/s1600/harlow2.jpg" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-qBsawNDIHIY/UwUxRQu6djI/AAAAAAAABaY/zsVk0Ze9iiw/s1600/harlow3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-qBsawNDIHIY/UwUxRQu6djI/AAAAAAAABaY/zsVk0Ze9iiw/s1600/harlow3.jpg" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
My next pick is one that most of you have probably seen! This is her most popular design and I definitely know why- it just seems to go with everything! This gorgeous black leather necklace makes any outfit pop, and also looks great layered up with other gold necklaces! It retails for $75.00.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-hvQeX5tVWZg/UwUxVcmuQ_I/AAAAAAAABao/5X-g6GPtE2o/s1600/harlow4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-hvQeX5tVWZg/UwUxVcmuQ_I/AAAAAAAABao/5X-g6GPtE2o/s1600/harlow4.jpg" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
This final pick is the evil eye headpiece! I love it because it is simple & chic, but definitely makes a statement. When worn, the evil eye sits beautifully front and center! You can also tighten or loosen it depending on your head size which is a great feature. Can't wait to wear this during the spring and summer! It retails for around $80-90.00 I believe. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-c1K90vAuvk0/UwUxXNwXgJI/AAAAAAAABas/xaQ0FQBAim4/s1600/harlow5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-c1K90vAuvk0/UwUxXNwXgJI/AAAAAAAABas/xaQ0FQBAim4/s1600/harlow5.jpg" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-RGjXFxKZV68/UwUxdJrFClI/AAAAAAAABbM/e1NCByjS8Wo/s1600/harlow9.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-RGjXFxKZV68/UwUxdJrFClI/AAAAAAAABbM/e1NCByjS8Wo/s1600/harlow9.jpg" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-DRW56XmwlzM/UwUxbIP-I9I/AAAAAAAABa4/dmsDe2oVl5U/s1600/harlow8.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-DRW56XmwlzM/UwUxbIP-I9I/AAAAAAAABa4/dmsDe2oVl5U/s1600/harlow8.jpg" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
All of her pieces are beautiful and simple- not overworked. They all have a breezy & chic feel to them which I absolutely love! Can't wait to see whats to come from her line.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-R7M_YNSbKcg/UwUxcGmKa_I/AAAAAAAABbE/zIBZnufgw2Q/s1600/harlow6.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-R7M_YNSbKcg/UwUxcGmKa_I/AAAAAAAABbE/zIBZnufgw2Q/s1600/harlow6.jpg" height="640" width="426" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Can you believe its already almost Valentines Day?! In case you still need some last minute ideas for that perfect lip, look no further. I went through my entire collection of MAC lipsticks (literally) and picked my top four that I think will be perfect for whatever your plans may be! <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-DY470-vmr74/Uv2YddACrtI/AAAAAAAABYw/jteJ8Ddnryk/s1600/valentine1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-DY470-vmr74/Uv2YddACrtI/AAAAAAAABYw/jteJ8Ddnryk/s1600/valentine1.jpg" height="316" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-zt3dTV7Eqqg/Uv2YgzIhfEI/AAAAAAAABZE/OkXN8iwcdVE/s1600/valentine4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-zt3dTV7Eqqg/Uv2YgzIhfEI/AAAAAAAABZE/OkXN8iwcdVE/s1600/valentine4.jpg" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I absolutely love lipstick- with one swipe I can transform my entire look and mood. Feeling edgy? Ill go for MAC Haute Core, but if I am feeling laid back, I will swipe on MAC's Raspberry Swirl. It allows me to express how I am feeling that day, and let me tell you, a red lip can make you feel like you are on top of the world.<br />
<br />
Lipstick can make such a statement in my book, which is why I want all of you to rock a fabulous lip this Valentines Day! If you don't normally wear makeup, start small and go for a pinky nude! If you are a makeup pro, ROCK that red lip like a boss! <br />
<br />
Below I chose my top 4 lipstick picks to give you some inspiration. All 4 colors will be perfect for whatever your plans may be- no matter what mood or look you are going for!<br />

<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-FXmgJSNXUB4/UvsF5uwSFwI/AAAAAAAABXw/Ye44uENHvUI/s1600/sugarrose4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-FXmgJSNXUB4/UvsF5uwSFwI/AAAAAAAABXw/Ye44uENHvUI/s1600/sugarrose4.jpg" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
To begin, mix your sugar and food coloring in the bowl. The food coloring will form droplets, but just keep mixing. Next slowly add in the olive oil. Do not add it all in at once or it will distort the color of the mixture. Once the olive oil is completely mixed in, and you have the color you like, add in a few drops of your rose oil. If you like heavily fragranced products, add more! If you want just a subtle scent, only add a few drops. By this point your mixture should look something like this:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-SFMPPRfC7jo/UvsF6jwPVnI/AAAAAAAABX4/nalor6UmXEk/s1600/sugarrose5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-SFMPPRfC7jo/UvsF6jwPVnI/AAAAAAAABX4/nalor6UmXEk/s1600/sugarrose5.jpg" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
As an optional step, you can add body product safe glitter! I thought this gave it a nice touch! Stir until it is completely blended in.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-TVq5FYfAeyc/UvsF7xPLluI/AAAAAAAABYA/Xp_l_19_aIs/s1600/sugarrose6.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-TVq5FYfAeyc/UvsF7xPLluI/AAAAAAAABYA/Xp_l_19_aIs/s1600/sugarrose6.jpg" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Once your glitter is mixed in, your scrub is ready to be packaged! I bought some mason jars at Target which worked well, but you can use whatever type of jar you want! As an optional step, you can decorate the jars with stickers, tape, and paint pens! I wrote some little messages with a thin point silver paint pen I found at Michaels. It wrote really well on the glass and think it looks great for Valentines Day!<br />

I recently went to the Nordstrom Lunar New Year event and picked up some new products and when I got home, I came to the realization that I am quickly becoming obsessed with cleansing balms. I don't have one, nor two, but THREE different cleansing balms...that's kind of a lot right?? So after testing them out, I thought I would do a review and let you guys know what I like about them and how I use them- and if that EVE LOM cleanser really is worth the hype! <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/--nuB96_1nPE/Uvq4khCiWsI/AAAAAAAABWM/nO1ccR4cPkg/s1600/balm1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/--nuB96_1nPE/Uvq4khCiWsI/AAAAAAAABWM/nO1ccR4cPkg/s1600/balm1.jpg" height="362" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
I have fairly normal skin, but if anything it can be slightly on the dry side- so I love the moisture that I get from a cleansing balm. My face never feels dry or tight after using them. All three of the above cleansers do an EXCELLENT job at making sure my face is super clean, without compromising the moisture level. Often times the cleansers that leave your face "squeaky clean" also leave your face feeling tight and dry, but not these cleansing balms!<br />
<br />
Every night I cleanse my skin twice- once to get the makeup and sunscreen off, the second to cleanse my skin. And these cleansing balms work for either step. All three balms work generally the same- I take a small amount and warm it up in my hands. I then work the product onto my DRY skin, massaging it all around for about 1-2 minutes. Next I take a warm washcloth (or muslin cloth for EVE LOM) and place it over my face three or so times. This loosens the balm and makes it easier to remove from the skin. Without this step, sometimes the balms can leave a waxy residue that is hard to get off.<br />
<br />

<br />
This first cleansing balm is from the skincare line REN and has the look and feel of a thick Vaseline. It does not have any exfoliating properties, as the consistency is extremely smooth. Infused with rose, it is very hydrating and melts into the skin so easily. It also is safe for your eye area and does a great job at removing even the toughest waterproof mascara. There really is nothing bad to say about this cleanser- it does the job and leaves my skin hydrated and ready for my serums and moisturizers. While it is pricey, you do get a huge tub of it. If you are interested in it, you can find it <a href="http://www.sephora.com/rosa-centifolia-no-1-purity-cleansing-balm-P306884?SKUID=1186949&ci_src=17588969&ci_sku=1186949&om_mmc=ppc-gg-pla&om_mmc=ppc-GG&mkwid=pla02921&pcrid=26510669537&pdv=c&site=us_search&country_switch=us&lang=en" target="_blank">here</a> for $48.00.<br />
<br />

<br />
My next cleansing balm is the cult favorite by EVE LOM. Described by Vogue as "probably the best cleanser in the world," I picked this up simply because I had to try it. Well I didn't have to, but you know, I saw it and that was that. I do really love it and the smell is AMAZING. It smells like Christmas in a jar- and sure enough a quick check on the package shows that cloves are a main ingredient. <br />
<br />
The EVE LOM cleansing balm works a little differently from the REN one. First of all, there are large exfoliating beads, so works as an exfoliator AND as a makeup remover/cleanser. After every use, it leaves my skin feeling super soft and clean. Second of all, they recommend a certain procedure for how you should apply this balm.<br />
<br />
EVE LOM recommends their massage technique when applying this cleansing balm to help drain toxins. I needed help on how to do this, so I went to YouTube where I found tons of tutorials showing the proper massage EVE LOM massage technique. After you massage the balm into your dry skin, I follow these steps, as written on the packaging:<br />
<br />
<br />
<ol>
<li>Take the included muslin cloth and run it under warm water</li>
<li>Apply the muslin cloth to our face, covering it. Repeat three times.</li>
<li>Fold the muslin cloth up into a square and gently buff the skin. This motion helps to remove the cleansing balm, while also lightly exfoliating the skin.</li>
<li>After the cleanser has been completely removed, run the muslin cloth under cool water and apply it to your skin. This helps to "close" the pores and give your skin a more even toned look. </li>
</ol>
<div>
I know what you are thinking, really all of these instructions for a cleanser? Isn't cleansing my face self explanatory? Do I really have to do all those steps?! I do (my rule following nature) so I cannot say if you would get the same results without all of the massaging and muslin cloth mumbo jumbo that EVE LOM is known for- but hey it works, so why not do it? I leave you with yes. YES the EVE LOM cleanser is worth the hype. YES it is pricey, but YES it does work. And YES, do follow all of the steps.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
If you are interested in it, you can find it <a href="http://www.sephora.com/cleanser-P381436?skuId=1560200" target="_blank">here</a> ranging from $50-135.00.</div>
<br />

<br />

<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-c1NcScuwSg4/Uvq4qVfLkuI/AAAAAAAABXA/Yw5d7xJleFs/s1600/balm8.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-c1NcScuwSg4/Uvq4qVfLkuI/AAAAAAAABXA/Yw5d7xJleFs/s1600/balm8.jpg" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-c--i2gpMmSc/Uvq4q-wIETI/AAAAAAAABXI/yUXf_LS0604/s1600/balm9.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-c--i2gpMmSc/Uvq4q-wIETI/AAAAAAAABXI/yUXf_LS0604/s1600/balm9.jpg" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
My final cleansing balm is my newest one that I picked up from Nordstroms. It is by Bobbi Brown and smells like a fruit smoothie! I am serious, this cleansing balm is so heavily fragranced you could smell it from a mile away. But that didn't stop me. In fact, I welcomed it. Who doesn't want their face smelling like an orange? Okay, maybe its not for everybody but if you can get past the overwhelming smell (wonderful in my opinion) this cleanser is seriously awesome. It is the only one out of all three that truly gives a warming sensation when I apply it to dry skin. Like really warm- not the I think its warm- but the WOW THIS IS WARM! <br />
<br />
All you need is a teeny tiny bit and it takes off every last stitch of makeup. It also is right in the middle between REN and EVE LOM in terms of consistency- as it is not as exfoliating as the EVE LOM, but definitely not as smooth as the REN. It sort of feels like very fine sand mixed with a smooth paste. In addition, I do steam my face quite a few times with a washcloth after rubbing this in, as I find it takes the balm off easier. If I skip this step, I notice it can leave behind a light residue. But nonetheless, it definitely has become a staple in my skincare routine- EVE LOM and REN don't be sad, I love you both too. You can find it <a href="http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/bobbi-brown-extra-balm-rinse/2802449" target="_blank">here</a> for $59.00.<br />
<br />
So while all three are cleansing balms, you can see they are slightly different from one another. Some are gritty, some are smooth. Some have a warming effect, etc. When picking out a cleansing balm, look for what is important in your skincare routine. Do you need the extra exfoliation? Or are you looking for something that will just remove your makeup and be gentle on the skin?<br />
<br />
I hope you guys found this helpful! If you haven't tried any of these cleansing balms, do your skin a favor and try one out!<br />

I recently have been loving the "ikea hacks" page on pinterest and thought I would start small and do a project of my own! I took some pretty inexpensive picture frames and made some cute wall art that I can display in my bedroom. Keep reading if you want to know how I did it!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-MY2jy-fSTXI/UvnWpfFfLUI/AAAAAAAABV4/14ZCJeA7-DM/s1600/frame10.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-MY2jy-fSTXI/UvnWpfFfLUI/AAAAAAAABV4/14ZCJeA7-DM/s1600/frame10.jpg" height="640" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
What you will need:<br />
<br />
<ul>
<li>frames (IKEA frames $5.99 each)</li>
<li>paint and paint brush</li>
<li>Cardstock in any color</li>
<li>scissors</li>
<li>White poster board </li>
<li>craft glue</li>
</ul>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-g1sNEYMZq9w/UvnWimzrW2I/AAAAAAAABUw/DVZVBieauTI/s1600/frame1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-g1sNEYMZq9w/UvnWimzrW2I/AAAAAAAABUw/DVZVBieauTI/s1600/frame1.jpg" height="640" width="506" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-SH6WbesR3Bw/UvnWjI_s0zI/AAAAAAAABU4/2esaivZLG58/s1600/frame2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-SH6WbesR3Bw/UvnWjI_s0zI/AAAAAAAABU4/2esaivZLG58/s1600/frame2.jpg" height="640" width="480" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-PWwQz6DTNfE/UvnWj-DoyuI/AAAAAAAABVI/urD8XOvc3KE/s1600/frame3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-PWwQz6DTNfE/UvnWj-DoyuI/AAAAAAAABVI/urD8XOvc3KE/s1600/frame3.jpg" height="516" width="640" /></a></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
First things first, paint the edges of the frame in the color of your choice. I used a gold paint by Martha Stewart from Michaels Craft Store. It worked pretty well, but definitely needed a few coats. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-3ndaE1ll8Cs/UvnWlQ-L_aI/AAAAAAAABVU/SyBgJrOTVaI/s1600/frame5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-3ndaE1ll8Cs/UvnWlQ-L_aI/AAAAAAAABVU/SyBgJrOTVaI/s1600/frame5.jpg" height="640" width="610" /></a></div>
<div>
<br />
Now to decide what you want to put in the frames. I was inspired to do a picture collage that focused on four images that were variations of the same item- in my case mustaches. But you can do anything , really. Whatever fits your room decor and personality. <br />
<br />
For me, I printed out stencils online, copied them onto my black sparkly cardstock and cut them out.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-IZEvrIiADgI/UvnWmI190nI/AAAAAAAABVY/EhSmtm_YOQg/s1600/frame6.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-IZEvrIiADgI/UvnWmI190nI/AAAAAAAABVY/EhSmtm_YOQg/s1600/frame6.jpg" height="640" width="498" /></a></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Next, take your white poster board and trim it to fit your frame. This will act as the backing, since the IKEA frame only came with a cardboard back. Adhere your cut-outs to the poster board and press firmly to get all of the air bubbles out.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ZxGILM8aqHc/UvnWm89s2oI/AAAAAAAABVg/DSU4y0Ap8DA/s1600/frame7.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ZxGILM8aqHc/UvnWm89s2oI/AAAAAAAABVg/DSU4y0Ap8DA/s1600/frame7.jpg" height="640" width="538" /></a></div>
<br />
Once the cut-outs are dry, pop the white backing into the frame!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-kwBydjGwTjU/UvnWnrzPJtI/AAAAAAAABVo/4DbEsuKKOck/s1600/frame8.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-kwBydjGwTjU/UvnWnrzPJtI/AAAAAAAABVo/4DbEsuKKOck/s1600/frame8.jpg" height="640" width="558" /></a></div>
<br />
And voila! Done! Super easy and I am really happy with the outcome! What do you guys think?!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/--3ONyFB5OMA/UvnWohDScBI/AAAAAAAABVw/odwMyOKCDD0/s1600/frame9.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/--3ONyFB5OMA/UvnWohDScBI/AAAAAAAABVw/odwMyOKCDD0/s1600/frame9.jpg" height="578" width="640" /></a></div>

I wanted to share with you all my most used makeup brushes today. Makeup brushes can be overwhelming- first because there are <i>so many choices </i>and second, because they can be quite pricey. <br />
<br />
For a full face of makeup (see my everyday makeup look <a href="http://lindsandbells.blogspot.com/2014/02/quick-chic-makeup.html" target="_blank">here</a>), you really only need a few different brushes- and here are my top picks!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-mXn1HnJPvEc/Uu3YMR5XejI/AAAAAAAABSE/agCe64Zz6W4/s1600/brushes1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-mXn1HnJPvEc/Uu3YMR5XejI/AAAAAAAABSE/agCe64Zz6W4/s1600/brushes1.jpg" height="498" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
From left to right:<br />
<br />
<ol>
<li>The first brush is a big fluffy blush brush I have had forever! The brand has rubbed off, and I absolutely cannot remember where I got it, but it has held up surprisingly well! A similar version would be MAC's 150 brush. I use this brush to apply my Chanel setting powder, as well as any blushes or bronzers! The size of it allows me to cover the larger areas of my face, like cheeks and forehead. </li>
<li>The next brush is MACS 190 foundation brush. I use this to, yes you guessed it, apply my primer and foundation. It does a great job of applying the foundation evenly (similar to using a paint brush), however, I use my next brush to blend everything in.</li>
<li>My MAC 130 Duo Fibre brush is great for blending in your foundation or buffing it into the skin. Using small circles, it really makes the foundation look flawless. I highly recommend this brush if you are having trouble with your foundation looking smooth and natural.</li>
<li>My next brush is MAC's 239 shading brush. I personally use this brush to apply concealer, because the dense, stiff bristles make it perfect for patting the concealer exactly where you need it. This brush also works wonders for lining your outer lips and eyebrows with concealer to make them pop. </li>
<li>My final brush is Anastasias Duo Brow Brush. I use this brush to apply my eyebrow powder, and the opposite side to groom my brows into place. A staple in my makeup bag!</li>
</ol>

I hope you guys found this helpful! Which brushes are your favorite?!</div>

I hope you all had a great weekend! Hope Superbowl festivities were fun...or in my case, commercial watching festivities haha<br />
<br />
Anyways, Iv'e been on a review kick lately and wanted to do another on one of my favorite concealers!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-c-wsxcFbvj0/Uu2_Y1-FgDI/AAAAAAAABRs/H6yw5WaUZ60/s1600/macstudio9.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-c-wsxcFbvj0/Uu2_Y1-FgDI/AAAAAAAABRs/H6yw5WaUZ60/s1600/macstudio9.jpg" height="640" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
The MAC Studio Finish SPF 35 Concealer is great for covering up any hyper pigmentation, acne scars, current breakouts, redness, or anything else you want to hide. It is creamy, but stays put- a hard combo to find in a concealer. Often times concealers that are creamy are too sheer, while concealers that give great coverage are thick and cakey. But not this concealer! <br />
<br />
A little thing I do is take my blow dryer and run it quickly over the concealer which heats it up, making it super easy to work with. Once you apply and blend it into your skin, it dries beautifully and stays in place all day long.<br />
<br />
This concealer is also great for lining your eyebrows and lips to really make them pop!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-6dSSF0Gm4Xc/Uu2_S5PD9GI/AAAAAAAABRI/__oUy-mL_SM/s1600/macstudio1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-6dSSF0Gm4Xc/Uu2_S5PD9GI/AAAAAAAABRI/__oUy-mL_SM/s1600/macstudio1.jpg" height="558" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-3HSRPBG7UjY/Uu2_T4yZKsI/AAAAAAAABRQ/BS8SjT04fSo/s1600/macstudio2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-3HSRPBG7UjY/Uu2_T4yZKsI/AAAAAAAABRQ/BS8SjT04fSo/s1600/macstudio2.jpg" height="502" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
To prove the awesome coverage, I did a test with a green sharpie. I drew a heart on my arm and covered it with the MAC concealer. The first coat definitely did provide some coverage, but with two coats, the heart completely disappeared! If this can cover up sharpie, imagine what it can do on your face!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Per usual, I picked up some new products at Sephora (because I just <i>can't</i> go to Sephora and not get a new serum or foundation or lip product) and wanted to do a review on the Josie Maran Pure Argan Milk. This product hasn't really gotten a lot of buzz (or maybe I just am living under a rock?), but I saw the beautiful rose gold bottle and the sales girl told me I wouldn't be disappointed. So in it went into my basket.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-m02QOrFlLPQ/UuzGLciVaAI/AAAAAAAABQ0/b33QXFXdQDA/s1600/arganmilk5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-m02QOrFlLPQ/UuzGLciVaAI/AAAAAAAABQ0/b33QXFXdQDA/s1600/arganmilk5.jpg" height="640" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-CambgdMYofM/UuzC0dNSxyI/AAAAAAAABQY/rDeiuxZLpPA/s1600/arganmilk1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-CambgdMYofM/UuzC0dNSxyI/AAAAAAAABQY/rDeiuxZLpPA/s1600/arganmilk1.jpg" height="640" width="380" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
When I got home that night, I started out with my normal skincare routine, except instead of using my Kate Somerville Dilo Oil, I applied 4 drops of the Argan Milk, massaging it into my skin. While the texture is super thick and creamy, it absorbed nicely into my skin, without that greasy residue some serums leave behind. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-kbdHoAaLY8k/UuzC1FTJcHI/AAAAAAAABQk/d5441rxnvIE/s1600/arganmilk2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-kbdHoAaLY8k/UuzC1FTJcHI/AAAAAAAABQk/d5441rxnvIE/s1600/arganmilk2.jpg" height="640" width="410" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
On the packaging, the instructions say to massage 3-5 drops of this into your skin, following with the Josie Maran Pure Argan Oil. First things first, I used 4 drops because I felt like 3 wasn't enough, and five seemed like too much. This serum is somewhat less expensive than some of the other serums Ive used, but <i>still </i>I don't want to waste it, and five drops seemed excessive.<br />
<br />
After applying my 4 drops, I did not top it off with the Joise Maran Argan Oil because my bottle decided to take a swim in the white porcelain ocean (my sink), so bye bye Argan Oil. Oh well. And anyways, I wanted to test out how the Argan Milk worked by itself without the oil layered on top.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-uRRECJrKhz0/UuzC1jEPg_I/AAAAAAAABQo/0fyD-JGgt48/s1600/arganmilk3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-uRRECJrKhz0/UuzC1jEPg_I/AAAAAAAABQo/0fyD-JGgt48/s1600/arganmilk3.jpg" height="640" width="364" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
When I woke up the next morning, my skin was looking great! I am not sure if I love it more than the Dilo Oil, but if not more, than exactly the same. It made my skin look fresh, hydrated, and glowy- all things I look for in a serum. I also like how you can use this day or night! The thick texture might make you hesitant to use this during the day, but you can, I promise! I wonder how much better this product works though when used in conjunction with the Josie Maran Argan Oil. When I get around to buying another bottle, I will let you guys know! <br />
<br />
Overall, this is an excellent serum, especially when you consider the price. It works just as well as more expensive versions! If all keeps going well, I will definitely be repurchasing this! If you are interested in it, click <a href="http://www.sephora.com/pure-argan-milk-tm-intensive-hydrating-treatment-P384780" target="_blank">here</a> to purchase!<br />

<br />
<br />
Have any of you tried this product?! What do you think? Does it work better when used with the oil on top? <br />

Its the weekend, which means you probably will do <i>something</i>, right?! But what happens when you have that last minute Saturday night invite and have NO time to get ready?! Don't panic! I'm sharing the products I use for a quick and chic makeup look that will go with any plan you make this weekend!<br />
<br />
If you follow me on instagram (@lindsandbells), than you may know that lately I have been loving bold brows and lips, paired with minimal eye makeup. Not only does it look totally put together, it is just <i>so easy and quick- </i>not to mention it allows you to get away with wearing hardly any eye makeup (the true time saver).<br />
<br />
In all of the pictures below, I have the same foundation and eyebrow routine, only switching up the lip products! Want to know how I got these looks?! Keep reading<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-3WNgqeQcX54/UuxbwceifdI/AAAAAAAABOM/XRiOnxaSEqo/s1600/everydaylook1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-3WNgqeQcX54/UuxbwceifdI/AAAAAAAABOM/XRiOnxaSEqo/s1600/everydaylook1.jpg" height="640" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
My everyday makeup essentials for a quick, chic look:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-HKH9ikwh1vU/UuyoxF-6-eI/AAAAAAAABOg/npebqKl9k38/s1600/everydaylook2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-HKH9ikwh1vU/UuyoxF-6-eI/AAAAAAAABOg/npebqKl9k38/s1600/everydaylook2.jpg" height="434" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ihwI0DNOgSY/Uuyo92lf5LI/AAAAAAAABP4/ISw5-bS3dd4/s1600/everydaylook13.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ihwI0DNOgSY/Uuyo92lf5LI/AAAAAAAABP4/ISw5-bS3dd4/s1600/everydaylook13.jpg" height="640" width="426" /></a></div>
<br />
First, I apply my Laura Mercier Radiance Primer followed by the Laura Tinted Moisturizer (skip the primer if you don't have time). I have the illuminating moisturizer because I love the glow it gives to the skin, but if you have oily skin or prefer a matte look, stick to the original formula! Tinted Moisturizer is super easy to apply and does not need as much "blending time" as a true foundation requires, making this the perfect choice when you are on the go.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-FbhKrz4Nd80/Uuyo2e2GJ7I/AAAAAAAABPA/uRqgEjY1mA0/s1600/everydaylook7.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-FbhKrz4Nd80/Uuyo2e2GJ7I/AAAAAAAABPA/uRqgEjY1mA0/s1600/everydaylook7.jpg" height="214" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Next, I use my Nars Creamy Radiant Concealer to touch up any areas that need additional coverage, like under my eyes and around my nose. This concealer is super creamy and blends effortlessly into the skin. The formula really brightens up the under eye area, making tired eyes look awake! <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-LtoNY5FgqtE/UuyoytQVI2I/AAAAAAAABOw/y3Zo7ph_4jI/s1600/everydaylook3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-LtoNY5FgqtE/UuyoytQVI2I/AAAAAAAABOw/y3Zo7ph_4jI/s1600/everydaylook3.jpg" height="554" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Next I set my tinted moisturizer and concealer with the Chanel powder, focusing on the center of my face. This powder is great at setting your foundation, while providing additional coverage. It does have a matter finish, but when paired with a non-matte foundation, it gives a nice subtle glow to the skin.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-4tnOictidck/Uuyo9dipbKI/AAAAAAAABP0/DAeRi7EHTUs/s1600/everydaylook11.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-4tnOictidck/Uuyo9dipbKI/AAAAAAAABP0/DAeRi7EHTUs/s1600/everydaylook11.jpg" height="508" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
After using my Chanel powder, I use a big fluffy brush and apply MAC's Soft & Gentle Mineralize Skin Finish to the apples of my cheeks and along the bridge of my nose. I love this product because it highlights and warms up the skin all in one!!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-iqcVfuYdvfE/Uuyo0F0TGiI/AAAAAAAABO4/XTRqcfXh6_8/s1600/everydaylook5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-iqcVfuYdvfE/Uuyo0F0TGiI/AAAAAAAABO4/XTRqcfXh6_8/s1600/everydaylook5.jpg" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Next up are brows! I have gotten a few questions as to what products I use to do my brows, and I do switch it up, but currently I am using Anastasia's brow powder duo, along with her brow wiz pencil topped off with the tinted brow gel.<br />
<br />
I apply the pencil first, focusing on outlining the shape I want my brows to be (if you have a hard time with creating an eyebrow shape, Anastasia makes great eyebrow stencils). I then fill them in with the pencil and set them with the brow powder. After my brows are looking exactly how I want them to look, I finish them off with the Anastasia tinted brow gel. This keeps my brows in check all day long- I highly recommend it!!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-2G59pu5X4Y8/Uuyo5XLE8FI/AAAAAAAABPc/BTd2witqXRk/s1600/everydaylook9.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-2G59pu5X4Y8/Uuyo5XLE8FI/AAAAAAAABPc/BTd2witqXRk/s1600/everydaylook9.jpg" height="298" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-hSTF0eb4F-c/Uuyo5n5kUaI/AAAAAAAABPg/qJAOT6tcYYM/s1600/everydaylook10.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-hSTF0eb4F-c/Uuyo5n5kUaI/AAAAAAAABPg/qJAOT6tcYYM/s1600/everydaylook10.jpg" height="274" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
At this point, my skin and eyebrows are complete! Now time to move onto the eyes. First thing I do is apply my Urban Decay Primer Potion in "Sin." This keeps my shimmery shadows in place throughout the day! It also keeps any glitter in the shadow on the eyelid, and not all over my face.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-4bb1--qE8Ro/Uuyoy-gITxI/AAAAAAAABOs/YwU2lZxPTG8/s1600/everydaylook4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-4bb1--qE8Ro/Uuyoy-gITxI/AAAAAAAABOs/YwU2lZxPTG8/s1600/everydaylook4.jpg" height="220" width="640" /></a></div>
As the primer potion dries, I apply a few coats of mascara to my lashes. I am absolutely loving this new mascara from Maybelline- if you are on the hunt for a new mascara, check this one out!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Ntk_qP5I6RA/Uuyo8yBziBI/AAAAAAAABPs/sA0G2BrVpKM/s1600/everydaylook12.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Ntk_qP5I6RA/Uuyo8yBziBI/AAAAAAAABPs/sA0G2BrVpKM/s1600/everydaylook12.jpg" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-_hbDeSvxTGM/Uuyo_2v8JyI/AAAAAAAABQE/dLA-d36lyAk/s1600/everydaylook14.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-_hbDeSvxTGM/Uuyo_2v8JyI/AAAAAAAABQE/dLA-d36lyAk/s1600/everydaylook14.jpg" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
After applying my mascara, I apply one of the three eyeshadows above! I love love love sparkly & whimsical eyeshadows and think they go perfectly with bold brows. They highlight the eye, without being overwhelming or too dramatic. They are also super easy and fool-proof. Just use your finger and swipe them on- it doesn't get any easier than that, right?!<br />
<br />
Swatches below!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-LCKmtqe8pWw/UuypAHyU5UI/AAAAAAAABQI/fFXJO_S0Tfs/s1600/everydaylook15.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-LCKmtqe8pWw/UuypAHyU5UI/AAAAAAAABQI/fFXJO_S0Tfs/s1600/everydaylook15.jpg" height="640" width="362" /></a></div>
<br />
If I have extra time and want to add a little more sparkle to my eye, I use this gold glitter mascara/liner duo from Sephora and dab a little into the corners of my eyes. The glitter acts as an inner corner highlight and does a beautiful job at catching the light. Your eyes are sure to look wide awake!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-GgYLpsb7sv0/Uuyo3jt8yLI/AAAAAAAABPQ/hPP77Sv8-Q8/s1600/everydaylook6.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-GgYLpsb7sv0/Uuyo3jt8yLI/AAAAAAAABPQ/hPP77Sv8-Q8/s1600/everydaylook6.jpg" height="344" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
To finish off the look, you can't forget about those lips! My current obsession has been the Lip Tar All Star Mini set, which I picked up around the holidays at Sephora. Their colors are so vibrant <i>and </i>have awesome staying power! A quick swipe of this and you are good to go! <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-QFu62BToqOo/Uuyo3XEuaVI/AAAAAAAABPM/rVWfXmuxYcY/s1600/everydaylook8.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-QFu62BToqOo/Uuyo3XEuaVI/AAAAAAAABPM/rVWfXmuxYcY/s1600/everydaylook8.jpg" height="340" width="640" /></a></div>

I hope you have all had a fantastic start to 2014! Can you believe its already January 27th?! I can't! <br />
<br />
This month I discovered some new (and old) favorites that I thought I would share with you all!<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-yX47hAPWKFM/UubmTWf8KLI/AAAAAAAABLg/N0ebmRmgZ4c/s1600/janfav1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-yX47hAPWKFM/UubmTWf8KLI/AAAAAAAABLg/N0ebmRmgZ4c/s1600/janfav1.jpg" height="468" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
My first two favorites I rediscovered while going through and cleaning out my makeup collection. I used to wear them all the time, but stopped for some reason! So when I found them in my drawers, I thought I would give them a go again! I am talking about the Laura Mercier Radiance Primer and the Laura Mercier Illuminating Tinted Moisturizer. When used together, they give the skin a beautiful healthy glow. I also love the fact that the tinted moisturizer has an SPF of 20. I use retinal a few times a week, making it important to wear sunscreen everyday! <br />
<br />
They both have a dewy finish, so if you have oily skin or prefer a matte finish, I would not recommend either of these products. However, Laura Mercier does make a regular, non "illuminating" tinted moisturizer that provides more of a matte finish. <br />
<br />
The Tinted Moisturizer can be purchased <a href="http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/laura-mercier-illuminating-tinted-moisturizer-spf-20/2993912?origin=keywordsearch-personalizedsort&contextualcategoryid=2375500&fashionColor=&resultback=0&cm_sp=personalizedsort-_-searchresults-_-1_1_A" target="_blank">here</a> for $43.00 and the Radiance Primer can be purchased <a href="http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/laura-mercier-radiance-foundation-primer-1-7-oz/3214262?origin=keywordsearch-personalizedsort&contextualcategoryid=0&fashionColor=&resultback=230&cm_sp=personalizedsort-_-searchresults-_-1_1_B" target="_blank">here</a> for $32.00.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-zF2-Fhpn2K4/UubmWAk_CKI/AAAAAAAABLo/2o01kG_XMQU/s1600/janfav2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-zF2-Fhpn2K4/UubmWAk_CKI/AAAAAAAABLo/2o01kG_XMQU/s1600/janfav2.jpg" height="640" width="426" /></a></div>
<br />
My next favorite is the Beauty Blender! This non-disposable makeup sponge is amazing for applying foundation and concealer. When you run it under water before using (squeezing out the excess water), it doubles in size and turns into a slightly damp sponge that applies makeup flawlessly. I don't know what it is about the Beauty Blender exactly, but it really honestly works differently than other makeup sponges. It creates an airbrush finish, and who doesn't want that?!<br />
<br />
The shape, in part, is what makes this product so great. The larger rounded end is perfect for applying foundation to larger areas, such as your cheeks, chin, and forehead, while the smaller angled tip is perfect for applying foundation and concealer to smaller and more delicate areas, such as the eye area and around the nose. You can also use the Beauty Blender for applying loose powder and mineral cosmetics, making it very versatile!<br />
<br />
Yes, they are pricey, and certainly more expensive than a drugstore makeup sponge, but it is well worth it. Try it out, you won't regret it! You can find them at Sephora (<a href="http://www.sephora.com/beautyblender-P228913?skuId=1151869" target="_blank">here</a>) for $19.95 each. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-NqhhxVU_5dA/UubmXT4VifI/AAAAAAAABLw/pXMY909bikY/s1600/janfav3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-NqhhxVU_5dA/UubmXT4VifI/AAAAAAAABLw/pXMY909bikY/s1600/janfav3.jpg" height="640" width="636" /></a></div>
<br />
My next January favorite I hauled a few posts ago in my Korean Skincare Haul! This "Steam Cream" by Nature Republic is fantastic for dry and sensitive skin. Its thick consistency paired with the Shea butter provides a deep level of moisture for dry skin. I have been using this at night over my serums and wake up in the morning to glowing and hydrated skin. Despite the thickness, it has not made me break out either! The best part is its only $22.99 from most online retailers. The actual Nature Republic Stores are hard to find, but you can find most of their products online. This particular steam cream can be found <a href="http://www.amazon.com/COSMETICS-REPUBLIC-ultra-moisturizing-nutrition-SoftBay/dp/B00ARB8PT0/ref=pd_sim_sbs_bt_1" target="_blank">here</a>!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-4cJTBrXumo4/UubmYWlBzII/AAAAAAAABL4/O08kOzj6m7w/s1600/janfav4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-4cJTBrXumo4/UubmYWlBzII/AAAAAAAABL4/O08kOzj6m7w/s1600/janfav4.jpg" height="562" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
My next favorite, like the Laura Mercier makeup, I found when I was going through my makeup collection. It was a sample I'm pretty sure I received in a Glam Bag. I tested it out with little hope and boy was I wrong. It is AMAZING, like using it one time and noticing a difference right away amazing. It seriously makes my lips so smooth and hydrated, especially in winter when my lips tend to get dry and chapped. It has a very thick consistency, so I have just been using it at night before bed. When I run out, this will be a definite repurchase! And if you don't just take my word for it, it has 347 five star reviews online! You can find it <a href="http://www.dermstore.com/product_Lip+Quench_38330.htm" target="_blank">here</a> for $12.00.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-mlXRCTs8-3M/UubmaRmAm4I/AAAAAAAABMI/4qRcQZLVBdM/s1600/janfav6.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-mlXRCTs8-3M/UubmaRmAm4I/AAAAAAAABMI/4qRcQZLVBdM/s1600/janfav6.jpg" height="640" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
My next favorite I got as a deluxe 500 point gift from Sephora, along with a few other Caudalie products. Being a bit serum obsessed (to put it lightly), I couldn't wait to test this out! I have used it for a few weeks, only using a few drops at a time, and it provides great hydration and radiance to my skin. It sinks into the skin very fast and did not make me break out. I have been using this in conjunction with my Kate Somerville Dilo Oil and love the two together.<br />
<br />
I also love the packaging of the product, as the dropper allows you to be very precise with how much of the serum you want. If you are interested in trying this out, you can find it <a href="http://www.sephora.com/vinoperfect-radiance-serum-P94421?skuId=823427" target="_blank">here</a> for $79.00.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-pFAVFimeXt0/UubmbqUPANI/AAAAAAAABMQ/6rdlvYqirjs/s1600/janfav7.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-pFAVFimeXt0/UubmbqUPANI/AAAAAAAABMQ/6rdlvYqirjs/s1600/janfav7.jpg" height="640" width="314" /></a></div>
<br />
My next January favorite is an eye cream by the French skincare line "Ioma." I picked this up at Saks Fifth Avenue and have used it off and on, but just recently have really been committed to using it everyday. What makes it unique is that it has snake venom in it, weird right?! So when I apply it, I immediately feel a tightening and slight tingling sensation-but in my mind that means its working...right?! When I use this product, my eye area is hydrated, and my eyes look overall more awake and refreshed. If you suffer from dehydration lines or wrinkles around your eyes and want to treat yourself, try this eye cream.<br />
<br />
Also, if you go into Saks Fifth Avenue, some Ioma Counters have their "Sphere" device, which is essentially a face analyzer machine- yes, it analyzes skin texture, how many wrinkles you have, how big your pores are, UV damage, and redness. Sounds scary.... BUT on the plus side, it allows you to see what areas you need to work on, and they recommend which products are best suited for you! Then the cool part is a few weeks later, after upping your skincare routine with specific products, you can go back in and get your face re-analyzed and see how much it has improved! It even prints out pictures for you! Pretty awesome right?! Ioma clearly stands behind their products, and their willing to prove it with their unique technology! If you are interested in getting your skin analyzed by the Ioma Sphere, click <a href="http://www.saksfifthavenue.com/main/WorldOfDesigner.jsp?FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=2534374306614737&PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524446130079&bmUID=kfnDISt" target="_blank">here</a> for more information and to find a location near you.<br />
<br />
This eye cream definitely is a pricey pick, but seeing as I only use a small dab each time, I think it will last me quite awhile! If you are interested in this product, you can find it <a href="http://www.saksfifthavenue.com/main/ProductDetail.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524446499248" target="_blank">here</a> for $110.00<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-TcLw-J5smJA/UubmdDu_KEI/AAAAAAAABMY/2Nlw7ZFzNZc/s1600/janfav8.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-TcLw-J5smJA/UubmdDu_KEI/AAAAAAAABMY/2Nlw7ZFzNZc/s1600/janfav8.jpg" height="640" width="332" /></a></div>
<br />
My next January Favorite I'm not going to go into too much detail (post coming tomorrow), but basically I have been obsessing over gold rings- and lots of them. I love wearing four, or five, or ten rings and midi rings (!!) at a time, layering them up on all my fingers! I also found this adorable bird ring dish from World Market, perfect for housing all of them.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-kvpzLLXZR9I/UubmZiURnFI/AAAAAAAABMA/6YHdFmU2ea4/s1600/janfav5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-kvpzLLXZR9I/UubmZiURnFI/AAAAAAAABMA/6YHdFmU2ea4/s1600/janfav5.jpg" height="490" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
My last January Favorite is this awesome Jonathan Adler Jewelry travel case from Nordstrom! Its absolutely perfect for traveling, and allows you to keep all of your bits and baubles safe and secure during travel. It even has spots meant for earrings and rings! Totally in love with this. Not to mention its monogrammed too! <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I hope you are all having a great week! Lately I have seen many makeup artists creating blue lips and I was inspired to try it out myself! What do you guys think?! Would you wear this look?<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-3V9aSP62kko/UuBD9vrELeI/AAAAAAAABIg/hgQwbFJC3hs/s1600/photo-2.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-3V9aSP62kko/UuBD9vrELeI/AAAAAAAABIg/hgQwbFJC3hs/s1600/photo-2.JPG" height="400" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
I know it definitely is different but I am liking it! I wanted to keep the lips the focal point so I did softer eyes with lots of lashes! I think I will be rocking this blue lip trend into spring!<br />
<br />
Hope you enjoyed this blue lip inspiration! <br />

So I thought I would share with you all how I did it! These would make great gifts and are perfect for Valentines Day coming up! If you are interested in learning how to make one, keep reading!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-j8uV4ZinTh0/UtXdKJYh_yI/AAAAAAAABG4/mLc4BtoXHe4/s1600/candle16.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="538" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-j8uV4ZinTh0/UtXdKJYh_yI/AAAAAAAABG4/mLc4BtoXHe4/s640/candle16.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
What you will need:<br />
<ul>
<li>Soy wax beads or chips</li>
<li>Fragrance Oil of your choice</li>
<li>soy wicks</li>
<li>tape</li>
<li>wooden skewers (kabob skewers)</li>
<li>teacups </li>
</ul>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-32MVgcGUToo/UtXcEk5V43I/AAAAAAAABFE/T651G5Fx-z8/s1600/candle1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-32MVgcGUToo/UtXcEk5V43I/AAAAAAAABFE/T651G5Fx-z8/s640/candle1.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I found all of my supplies at Michaels Craft Store! All of these supplies were also available on Amazon.com if you do not have a craft store near you. The teacups can be purchased at any home goods store, or on Amazon as well.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-sFPbcGd-Eic/UtXcHdpKtOI/AAAAAAAABFU/sR8LA9OrYKw/s1600/candle2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="388" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-sFPbcGd-Eic/UtXcHdpKtOI/AAAAAAAABFU/sR8LA9OrYKw/s640/candle2.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
After securing the wooden skewers around the wick, begin boiling your water in a double broiler. If you do not have one, simply put a glass measuring cup (with a handle) in a larger pot surrounded by water. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-QsilxbS-sbQ/UtXcFoQ7ZCI/AAAAAAAABFM/Xe7ot4WA8T0/s1600/candle3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="556" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-QsilxbS-sbQ/UtXcFoQ7ZCI/AAAAAAAABFM/Xe7ot4WA8T0/s640/candle3.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Pour the wax beads into the glass measuring cup and keep them on medium heat. Stir the beads until they are completely melted. Next, add between 4-6 drops of your scented oil and stir. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Mu2WN4GTwj0/UtXcIR4PeFI/AAAAAAAABFg/4s8gAAUURok/s1600/candle4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Mu2WN4GTwj0/UtXcIR4PeFI/AAAAAAAABFg/4s8gAAUURok/s640/candle4.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Carefully pour the melted wax into your teacups. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-XHvqbjD5pDg/UtXcI15aC5I/AAAAAAAABFk/zgworlWCBjk/s1600/candle5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-XHvqbjD5pDg/UtXcI15aC5I/AAAAAAAABFk/zgworlWCBjk/s640/candle5.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Let the teacups sit until dry- I let them sit overnight and they were dry by the morning! If you need them to be done quicker, you can always stick them in the freezer. Just be careful the wicks do not shift when you move the teacups from the counter to the freezer. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-4tOlvS2UgBA/UtXcKD1ey0I/AAAAAAAABFs/6iJnchMpmCs/s1600/candles6.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-4tOlvS2UgBA/UtXcKD1ey0I/AAAAAAAABFs/6iJnchMpmCs/s640/candles6.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-l5lXwiOCuVc/UtXcMDtlwQI/AAAAAAAABF8/c4B3JSi9rjY/s1600/candle7.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-l5lXwiOCuVc/UtXcMDtlwQI/AAAAAAAABF8/c4B3JSi9rjY/s640/candle7.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
And voila! Cute and easy teacup candles! I think these would be perfect for your own home or to give as gifts! I love that they are very customizable too- as you can pick whatever color and scent combination you like!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Hope you all had a lovely Saturday! Today I wanted to write about some Korean beauty finds I discovered while on vacation in Hawaii recently! As a complete skincare junkie, I am interested in trying any new products I can get my hands on. So when I came across the store Nature Republic one afternoon I was <i>so </i>excited, like actually maybe too excited. Nature Republic is a brand from Korea that sells amazing (and unique) beauty and skincare products at great prices- but they only have a few locations in the United States, one of them being on the island of Oahu. <br />
<br />
My total haul consisted of two jars of sleeping face masks, two moisturizers, a facial mist, a peeling gel exfoliant, and 8 one time use face masks! The receipt didn't quite make it home from Hawaii- but I can tell you this- all of this stuff, yes ALL OF THIS SKINCARE STUFF was under $100.00. I was in heaven, considering I have had night time moisturizers cost more than all of this combined! Anyways..onto my personal picks!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-VdLOl3IXQE0/UtIPSPqnwAI/AAAAAAAABCk/dw-2qCsRi9A/s1600/korean1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-VdLOl3IXQE0/UtIPSPqnwAI/AAAAAAAABCk/dw-2qCsRi9A/s1600/korean1.jpg" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I researched some of the products I bought, like the Bee Venom collection, but I mainly let the sales associate lead me in the right direction with what I should purchase.<br />

I never expected to be buying a whitening mask, but the SA sold me on this when she said how radiant it leaves the skin- when you put this on the night before, you will wake up with bright and glowing skin! SOLD!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/--4W27Z0j_AM/UtIPWjP6abI/AAAAAAAABDA/WWDRcdlqT_Q/s1600/korean5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/--4W27Z0j_AM/UtIPWjP6abI/AAAAAAAABDA/WWDRcdlqT_Q/s1600/korean5.jpg" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>

The Bee Venom Sleeping Mask is a popular product for those that have sensitive skin and redness. The venom actually calms the skin and leaves it feeling refreshed, hydrated, and less irritated. I picked this up because I do tend to have lots of redness, and for the price, it was worth a shot! <br />
<br />
Sleeping masks are different from your average masks because well, you <i>sleep</i> in them, hence the name. You put them on before bed and wash them off in the morning prior to your morning skincare routine! If you are looking for a good sleeping mask, and can't get your hands on one of these, try the Clinique Moisturesurge overnight mask! It works great!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-LMRvZWDiqXo/UtIPZEXH3PI/AAAAAAAABDg/0T6kr8oOpzg/s1600/korean7.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-LMRvZWDiqXo/UtIPZEXH3PI/AAAAAAAABDg/0T6kr8oOpzg/s1600/korean7.jpg" height="456" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I picked up the steam cream because it is great for those days when my skin is feeling extra dry and needs a little more attention. Made with Shea butter, it soothes and hydrates the skin. The SA told me you could wear this day or night, but I personally have only used it at night and have really liked the results! And do not let the Shea butter scare you- it did not break me out like expected! It was thick, but surprisingly not pore clogging. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-6Lqiv5rtxAg/UtIPY6WTceI/AAAAAAAABDU/zwQIzRb7KkQ/s1600/korean8.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-6Lqiv5rtxAg/UtIPY6WTceI/AAAAAAAABDU/zwQIzRb7KkQ/s1600/korean8.jpg" height="470" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
This final moisturizer I picked up because it was one of the stores best selling products. The reviews say it is a great daytime moisturizer that leaves the skin feeling hydrated without being greasy. I haven't used this yet, but expect a review when I do!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-FOXuTqzx13U/UtIPZrkOxTI/AAAAAAAABDY/048LbuLFbZE/s1600/korean9.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-FOXuTqzx13U/UtIPZrkOxTI/AAAAAAAABDY/048LbuLFbZE/s1600/korean9.jpg" height="640" width="302" /></a></div>
The Bee Venom mist, like the other bee venom products, is great for calming irritated skin. It can be used as a spray on toner, makeup setting spray, or to refresh makeup throughout the day!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-ML_vII29GEI/UtIPatdd3lI/AAAAAAAABDk/95rmAC0NZoQ/s1600/korean10.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-ML_vII29GEI/UtIPatdd3lI/AAAAAAAABDk/95rmAC0NZoQ/s1600/korean10.jpg" height="640" width="300" /></a></div>
I passed by this peeling gel the first time around the store- in fact I didn't even give it a second glance. <i>But then</i> the SA was demonstrating this on her hand and I was like "omg you must be added to my skincare regimen, like now." Basically, it is a gel that you massage onto clean dry skin. As you massage the gel in circular motions, it begins to ball up any dead skin! You can literally see the dead skin coming off of your face. So much more satisfying than a typical bead exfoliant. Is that weird? Just me? Anyways, this was $5.00 and I am tempted to say I like it better than Exfolikate ($85.00). Are you still with me?! Ill give you a minute to recover.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-noYl4JDq4K0/UtIPc0TnyxI/AAAAAAAABD0/LFjzhaA4yP0/s1600/korean11.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-noYl4JDq4K0/UtIPc0TnyxI/AAAAAAAABD0/LFjzhaA4yP0/s1600/korean11.jpg" height="640" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Aren't these pod face masks adorable?! I love love love the packaging and thought they would be perfect for traveling! Forget the whole face mask jar and instead pop a few of these in your bag! Airplane friendly too! I tried the seaweed one and really enjoyed it! It left my skin feeling clean and refreshed.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-dFPz1PXAkU0/UtIPdZZimGI/AAAAAAAABD8/QwdQlgaxTFE/s1600/korean12.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-dFPz1PXAkU0/UtIPdZZimGI/AAAAAAAABD8/QwdQlgaxTFE/s1600/korean12.jpg" height="360" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
My final picks are a bunch of their sheet face masks! These are great because they are easy one time use masks you pop on, wait 20 minutes, throw away, and say hello to glowing skin. I got quite a few different types because I wanted to test them all out and see which ones I liked best! And of course, I had to pick up the Bee Venom one (most expensive coming in at $4.99. The others ranged between $1.00-3.00). <br />

Meet your new best friendHey everyone! I hope you all had a fantastic week! Today I wanted to post a review on a new hair product I recently picked up, the I.C.O.N leave in replenishing spray!<br />
<br />
For the past few months I have been switching off between the WEN cleansing conditioner and the Macadamia "Flawless" cleansing conditioner, both of which are sulfate free and overall have really been great for my hair. However, I always like to put some sort of serum or spray onto my hair after cleansing, to keep it sleek and frizz free during the blow dry process. Normally I use "Its a 10" miracle spray, but when I ran out I decided to try something new, and what do you know?! I found something that I <i>love</i> even more!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-O8P0hY4Bd4s/Us5a6_jhmTI/AAAAAAAABAs/057kz7MjS3U/s1600/icon1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-O8P0hY4Bd4s/Us5a6_jhmTI/AAAAAAAABAs/057kz7MjS3U/s1600/icon1.jpg" height="640" width="378" /></a></div>
<br />
This leave in conditioner is absolutely amazing and makes my hair so silky smooth. I have been using about 3-4 sprays, focusing on the hair from my ears down. The consistency isn't too thick, allowing for my hair to quickly absorb it. It also doesn't leave my hair feeling greasy or dirty!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-3TpFHnp0a6c/Us5a_Ql7yuI/AAAAAAAABA0/mv2xBnWl3O8/s1600/icon2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-3TpFHnp0a6c/Us5a_Ql7yuI/AAAAAAAABA0/mv2xBnWl3O8/s1600/icon2.jpg" height="188" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
Using this product with my WEN and Macadamia cleansing conditioners, I really have found my perfect hair care routine. <br />

I recently picked up a few things at Sephora, including this Lolita Palette from Marc Jacobs' new beauty line. The palette comes in 4 different color combinations, but this particular one has been getting quite a bit of buzz in the beauty community, so of course I had to try it out!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-4ly7xgbx32Q/Us5trw6C9-I/AAAAAAAABBU/ZQi_xG-H3G4/s1600/marc3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-4ly7xgbx32Q/Us5trw6C9-I/AAAAAAAABBU/ZQi_xG-H3G4/s1600/marc3.jpg" height="468" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
Aside from the great reviews, the packaging was what really sold me! The sleek and sophisticated design of the palette practically had me drooling right then and there in Sephora. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-n6HNBw8_WUE/Us5tuXRW5vI/AAAAAAAABBs/BQkZzAD9MP0/s1600/marc6.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-n6HNBw8_WUE/Us5tuXRW5vI/AAAAAAAABBs/BQkZzAD9MP0/s1600/marc6.jpg" height="394" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Bbu9NI_nr34/Us5ttBq2yAI/AAAAAAAABBg/cRTuWuRKjJY/s1600/marc5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Bbu9NI_nr34/Us5ttBq2yAI/AAAAAAAABBg/cRTuWuRKjJY/s1600/marc5.jpg" height="192" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
Lolita comes with seven eyeshadows total- 3 are matte, while the other 4 have either a glitter or iridescent finish. I found the colors to be beautiful and very wearable, but the palette did come with a $59.00 price tag. However, if you break it down, it factors out to be a little over $8.00 per eyeshadow (reasonable right...<i>right??</i>). <br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-3ZdFkWWM7f0/Us5tvHDrRzI/AAAAAAAABBw/PlHSpHFDYas/s1600/marc8.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-3ZdFkWWM7f0/Us5tvHDrRzI/AAAAAAAABBw/PlHSpHFDYas/s1600/marc8.jpg" height="258" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-AsTq7atSVKo/Us5twL-fPuI/AAAAAAAABCA/QXwT3Z9iy2w/s1600/marc9.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-AsTq7atSVKo/Us5twL-fPuI/AAAAAAAABCA/QXwT3Z9iy2w/s1600/marc9.jpg" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
After swatching the palette and playing around with it, I really think this will become a staple in my makeup collection. The colors are so pretty and whimsical, and with the darker matte brown, you can create everything from a natural eye to a dark and sultry smokey eye! It is truly a palette that can take your look from day to night. <br />
<br />
All of the eyeshadows are smooth, creamy, and offer nice color payout. However, if you are very light, like myself, a few of the colors might be better used as highlighters rather than eyeshadows. You can see in my swatch below that two of the colors blend into my skin, adding a nice glow. This isn't a problem for me, as I am always looking for a good inner eye and brow bone highlighter. <br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-3f_4GOfSH88/Us5vwicO3CI/AAAAAAAABCM/XLXGl1a3eQs/s1600/marc11.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-3f_4GOfSH88/Us5vwicO3CI/AAAAAAAABCM/XLXGl1a3eQs/s1600/marc11.jpg" height="258" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-FQwoNChQIns/Us5trfDLxOI/AAAAAAAABBI/QIAx2JSdIyE/s1600/marc2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-FQwoNChQIns/Us5trfDLxOI/AAAAAAAABBI/QIAx2JSdIyE/s1600/marc2.jpg" height="246" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
If you are looking to try something new, put down your beloved UD Naked Palette and try Lolita- you won't disappointed!<br />

As promised, I wanted to do a more in-depth post on my DIY chocolate peppermint marshmallow straws and white chocolate spoons that I recently used for my hot chocolate bar (didn't see it? Find it <a href="http://www.lindsandbells.blogspot.com/2014/01/polar-vortex-warm-up-with-hot-chocolate.html" target="_blank">here</a>). Yes the holidays are over, but winter is definitely not! So stay warm with a nice cup of hot chocolate and one of these easy DIY treats!<br />
<br />
What you will need for the Marshmallow Straws:<br />
<ul>
<li>marshmallows</li>
<li>paper straws</li>
<li>dark chocolate chips</li>
<li>butterscotch chips</li>
<li>crushed peppermint</li>

<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
To get started push a straw through each of the marshmallows, as shown below!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-sUwDVBL3-7g/Urv5iOfKnCI/AAAAAAAAA-Q/VdpADZXy4EU/s1600/hot3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-sUwDVBL3-7g/Urv5iOfKnCI/AAAAAAAAA-Q/VdpADZXy4EU/s640/hot3.jpg" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Next, melt your chocolate and butterscotch chips in the microwave until melted, stirring every 15 seconds. <br />

<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Coat each marshmallow in the melted chocolate or butterscotch and roll it, while still warm, in the crushed peppermint. <br />

<br /></div>
<div>
<br />
Now for the white chocolate peppermint spoons to stir into your hot chocolate...<br />
<br />
You will need:<br />
<br />
<ul>
<li>spoons (metal or plastic)</li>
<li>chocolate chips of your choice</li>
<li>crushed peppermint</li>
</ul>
<div>
Begin by melting your chocolate chips in the microwave in 15 second intervals until melted. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-7EsKETz_CVM/Us5ReDE4AmI/AAAAAAAABAE/6cza-bA7egQ/s1600/spoons1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-7EsKETz_CVM/Us5ReDE4AmI/AAAAAAAABAE/6cza-bA7egQ/s1600/spoons1.jpg" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Next, dip each spoon into the melted chocolate and sprinkle with crushed peppermint. Let them cool on a piece of foil for about 30 minutes or so!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-OBlmfoi37CA/Us5SXFbH97I/AAAAAAAABAM/mFPjLMyLC8s/s1600/spoons2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-OBlmfoi37CA/Us5SXFbH97I/AAAAAAAABAM/mFPjLMyLC8s/s1600/spoons2.jpg" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>

Warm up with a Hot Chocolate Bar!Hey everyone! Since most of the United States is freezing right now (and I am complaining its cold at 50 degrees here in Southern California), I thought I would share this fabulous DIY hot chocolate bar I did! While this was holiday inspired, it still seems fitting given lots of people are experiencing negative degree weather! So cuddle up, invite your friends over, put on The Bachelor, and warm up with a nice cup of hot chocolate!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-P5M5gqC2vYw/Us5Lb2wH38I/AAAAAAAAA_s/AjxAK0-Vo6w/s1600/hotchocbar1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-P5M5gqC2vYw/Us5Lb2wH38I/AAAAAAAAA_s/AjxAK0-Vo6w/s1600/hotchocbar1.jpg" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
You can also add my DIY Hot Cocoa Sign! Find the directions <a href="http://www.lindsandbells.blogspot.com/2013/12/blogmas-day-21-diy-holiday-banner.html" target="_blank">here</a>.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
To keep things simple, I set up my Keurig with some dark hot chocolate K cups, which made it super easy for everyone to have a nice hot cup. You can make traditional hot chocolate over the stove, but keeping it warm enough to serve can be a problem!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Be creative with your hot chocolate bar, and make sure to have lots add ins! I made these marshmallow straw stirrers, as well as some white chocolate peppermint covered spoons to stir into the hot chocolate! Want the recipe? Keep an eye out for my next post!</div>

I wanted to do a post on how to create a great Champagne Bar for New Years Eve! I did this for Christmas for my family, but with a few quick changes, it will be perfect for ringing in the new year! If you are interested, keep reading!<br />
<br />
To start, you will need come champagne bottles of course! You can use any kind your little heart fancies! Begin by peeling off the labels on the bottle- this may take awhile. I used warm water and soap! <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-qTgEStRQ3nI/Urvt1lJkrXI/AAAAAAAAA78/swDj6Nd2Twk/s1600/champ1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-qTgEStRQ3nI/Urvt1lJkrXI/AAAAAAAAA78/swDj6Nd2Twk/s640/champ1.jpg" width="514" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
Next, take a can of chalkboard spray paint (from Michaels Craft Store) and spray paint the bottles in a well ventilated area. I did mine outside! This particular spray paint dried very quickly, and I was able to do two coats within a few hours!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-u_He9OZOLsw/Urvt2cylmqI/AAAAAAAAA8E/oyXdr_gY5bc/s1600/champ2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="602" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-u_He9OZOLsw/Urvt2cylmqI/AAAAAAAAA8E/oyXdr_gY5bc/s640/champ2.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-tIT3ksYdvZQ/Urvt4f3SyKI/AAAAAAAAA8M/lkFBlrkazsc/s1600/champ3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-tIT3ksYdvZQ/Urvt4f3SyKI/AAAAAAAAA8M/lkFBlrkazsc/s640/champ3.jpg" width="426" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
After both coats have completely dried, use mod podge and adhere labels or pictures of your choice to the bottles! Or you can go sans label and write some creative messages on the bottles with chalk! <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-vI6p0XTD1wg/Urvt8JUD5VI/AAAAAAAAA8k/Kh6y6xGSqHc/s1600/champ4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-vI6p0XTD1wg/Urvt8JUD5VI/AAAAAAAAA8k/Kh6y6xGSqHc/s640/champ4.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-NqOnbGBXEcc/Urvt7NzV1HI/AAAAAAAAA8Y/AQy_oANBL18/s1600/champ5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-NqOnbGBXEcc/Urvt7NzV1HI/AAAAAAAAA8Y/AQy_oANBL18/s640/champ5.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
With a few final touches, you can create an at home champagne bar! For a NYE theme champagne bar, you can adhere different festive images to the bottles, or write 2014 with chalk! <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-XBTvwQM6yLY/Urvt7lFQ6eI/AAAAAAAAA8g/TUx5bl8_ncE/s1600/champ6.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-XBTvwQM6yLY/Urvt7lFQ6eI/AAAAAAAAA8g/TUx5bl8_ncE/s640/champ6.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ansRE3OFElQ/Urvt-r-xogI/AAAAAAAAA80/qYgbr_-16EY/s1600/champ7.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ansRE3OFElQ/Urvt-r-xogI/AAAAAAAAA80/qYgbr_-16EY/s640/champ7.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-MRTp19yEYp4/Urvt-WcsR7I/AAAAAAAAA8w/3zoDH9u1mDI/s1600/champ8.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-MRTp19yEYp4/Urvt-WcsR7I/AAAAAAAAA8w/3zoDH9u1mDI/s640/champ8.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
I used these great napkins I found at Nordstrom Rack, paired with champagne glasses and striped paper straws from World Market! I also added some berries for a pop, as well as some mini pink bellini bottles, which I thought were absolutely adorable! If you like my chalkboard sign, I did a DIY on it <a href="http://www.lindsandbells.blogspot.com/2013/12/blogmas-day-15-diy-chalkboard-xmas-card.html" target="_blank">here</a>!<br />

Today I wanted to show you how I created a DIY holiday banner that I will be hanging on Christmas Eve! I was inspired by the hot chocolate bars on pinterest and can't wait to recreate my own! To get started, I created a cute hot cocoa banner that will just go perfectly with my hot chocolate bar setup! Want to make one too?! Keep reading!<br />

<li>Clothes Pins</li>
<li>Scissors</li>
<li>Ribbon of your choice</li>

</ul>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-BFvDrhowmDM/UrZ4M6kUREI/AAAAAAAAA6g/blEZ8L0o_R4/s1600/banner1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="516" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-BFvDrhowmDM/UrZ4M6kUREI/AAAAAAAAA6g/blEZ8L0o_R4/s640/banner1.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-zRsJZmH_Q7M/UrZ4NrHSPTI/AAAAAAAAA6o/CDneMln-SKU/s1600/banner2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-zRsJZmH_Q7M/UrZ4NrHSPTI/AAAAAAAAA6o/CDneMln-SKU/s640/banner2.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Start out by painting the wooden letters with the white paint. I recommend two coats, and let each coat dry for one hour. While the letters are drying, cut out pennants using the red card stock. You can free hand the shape, or use a stencil from the internet, whichever works best for you! Next, using the mod podge, glue one letter to the center of each pennant and let them dry.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: -webkit-auto;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-oFuvwwfjmAQ/UrZ4PUd85NI/AAAAAAAAA64/EP6wHfBivUU/s1600/banner4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-oFuvwwfjmAQ/UrZ4PUd85NI/AAAAAAAAA64/EP6wHfBivUU/s640/banner4.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div>
While the pennants are drying, take your clothes pins and apply one coat of mod podge each. Next, sprinkle glitter over the clothes pins and allow them to dry for a few hours.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-tl0jvPa_9eo/UrZ4QNiTAsI/AAAAAAAAA7A/BxQOZUgEOgc/s1600/banner5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-tl0jvPa_9eo/UrZ4QNiTAsI/AAAAAAAAA7A/BxQOZUgEOgc/s640/banner5.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-i44dsKOb0N0/UrZ4Q1pM1xI/AAAAAAAAA7E/MxeL0HK0Hpk/s1600/banner6.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-i44dsKOb0N0/UrZ4Q1pM1xI/AAAAAAAAA7E/MxeL0HK0Hpk/s640/banner6.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div>
When everything is completely dry, cut some twine and use the clothes pins to adhere the pennants to the twine! Make sure you cut the twine long enough to hang it up! <br />
<br />
To cover the part where I taped my banner up, I made little bows with some polka dot ribbon!<br />
<br />

<br />

I will post more pictures of my whole hot chocolate bar when I set it up on Christmas Eve! But for now, what do you guys think?! Let me know if you recreate this!</div>
